First-Level Disciplines of Shanghai at SJTU
Building First-Class Disciplines in Shanghai’s Higher Education is one of the key projects of Shanghai Municipality’s initiative to boost innovation in higher education. It is also the main theme of the “Building High Level Universities and First-Class Disciplines” in Shanghai’s Middle and Long Term Framework of Education Reform. In total, SJTU has 7 disciplines in the first-class discipline catalog (Type A) and 27 in catalog B listed in the project.
